- Swift-Tuttle Nov. 19/20, 1992
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
- Magnitude estimate using 7x35 binoculars
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
- The sky was 60% cloud and was going over the part of the sky where
- the comet was, using the out-of-focus method I had to conclude
- the comet was 5.2 Mv since it was close to BD +17d 03555 at 5.2 Mv and the
- blur of the comet was very close to that of the star. But because of
- the cloudy conditions, I would most likely put it at 5.1 Mv.

- * 2
- 1 * + comet star 1= BD +17d 03555 at 5.2 Mv
- star 2= BD +18d 03623 at 5.9 Mv
- 3 * star 3= BD +16d 03478 at 6.2 Mv
-
- Comet was brighter than BD +18d 03623 at 5.9 Mv and BD +16d 03478
- at 6.2 Mv and very close to BD +17d 03555 at 5.2 Mv.
