  13. My understanding was that at the horizon you have a frame of reference
  14. (say a tre) with which you can estimate the size.  At the zentih the
  15. tree is gone and yore eye focuses towards infintity thus making the moon
  16. APPEAR smaller, when in reality it hasn't changed. Or something like
  17. that, it's been a while :-)
