  19.   Someone recently asked why noone has commented on this quote (which I have
  20.   deleted).  I think the quote speaks for itself:  (A) it's not really worthy
  21.   of comment.  The facts are there for anyone with library access (and a good
  22.   working knowledge of several other languages) to look up.  And (B) a quote
  23.   like this is damn-near impossible to comment on anyway.  The person who wrote
  24.   it (and usually the person who brings it up, too) has no desire to hear any-
  25.   thing other than:  "Oh my God!  You're right!  How could I have been so
  26.   stupid all these years?" and will dismiss as intolerance any other comment.

  28.   Now, the person who posted it may be the exception that proves the rule,
  29.   but part (A) still applies.
