  12. The new line of DeWalt hand tools is made by Black&Decker.  They began
  13. using the DeWalt name for their higher-quality tools because the name
  14. Black&Decker has become associated with low quality, low price tools.

  16. They introduced this new DeWalt line about the same time they discontinued
  17. the old DeWalt stationary tools, especially the radial arm saws.
  18.  
  19. Evidently, DeWalt has been owned by Black&Decker for some time.
