- The new line of DeWalt hand tools is made by Black&Decker. They began
- using the DeWalt name for their higher-quality tools because the name
- Black&Decker has become associated with low quality, low price tools.
-
- They introduced this new DeWalt line about the same time they discontinued
- the old DeWalt stationary tools, especially the radial arm saws.
-
- Evidently, DeWalt has been owned by Black&Decker for some time.
