  12. I'd welcome some advice about buying a new mast.

  14. At present I have a North AL75 Heavy Duty (epoxy?) and a Rotho Wave.

  16. I'd like to get a new "slalomy" mast, which gives better performance
  17. from my sails, particularly when I'm using my Screamer (277, ~100litres).
  18. I'd like power and stability, perhaps over a wider wind range.  I'd
  19. quite like lightness.  I don't sail in waves very much.
  20. I need a two part mast.

  22. My sails are all 5 batten rotational:
  23. F2 Speed Slalom 1990(?) 6.4, monofilm
  24. Hyline Kahala Sprint 1990 5.7, part monofilm
  25. Barnstormer Aqualite 5.2, mylar

  27. I may move into more race oriented sails in due course.

  29. Can anyone suggest what stiffness of mast would be best?
  30. I don't even know what stiffness my existing masts are.

  32. I've seen a Lodey slalomy mast, 7.4 stiffness, and also a
  33. TSS? Slalom mast.  Would these be a good choice?
