  12. That is why border TV stations can be picked up in either
  13. Canada or the States.

  15. PAL is the video format used in Europe, except for France
  16. and the former Soviet Union countries which use the SECAM
  17. video format.  I`m not sure about the rest of the world.

  19. To convert a video tape from one format to another, just
  20. check around with video stores to see if they have the
  21. equipment to convert a tape for you.  Also check with 
  22. your local cable company.
