- Maybe Portland (about 1hr to SR); definitely Boston (about 3hrs). Definitely
- not Bethel.

- Don't know about Portland, Logan does.

- They have a shuttle for their properties on the mountain. SR is not like
- Killington though, there aren't tons of other places to stay near there and
- you'll still need a car to get there. Of course, there's no place to go
- apres ski, so you won't need it once you get there!

- I've stayed on-mountain twice (I paid $170 last year for two nights lodging
- and two lift tickets at Thanksgiving). I've also stayed about a half/hour
- away at a huge motel that did MAP--it was about $150 for two nights, three
- meals, and two lift tickets. SR has a lodging number you can call for more
- info, it's 1-800-543-2SKI. I'd stay on mountain if I were you.
-
- BTW, if you like to ski, Sunday River is a good choice. If you need other
- types of entertainment, you are better off staying in North Conway (NH) and
- skiing Attitash or Cranmore or Wildcat. Then you can do restaurants, or
- nightlife or shopping.
