- Someone asked for information about Telluride CO. Since I happen to
- have a news-paper article with 1992 ski area information, here goes.

- Location: From Denver: 330 miles via I-70, CO 50, CO 550, CO 62 and CO 145.
- From Grand Junction: 127 miles via CO 50, CO 550, CO 62, and CO 145.

- Dates and Times: Daily, November 21 - April 11, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

- Snowmaking: Yes

- Lifts: 1 high-speed quad, 6 double chairs, 2 triple chairs, and 1 poma lift.

- Lift Tickets: Early season discounts! November 21 - December 18:
- Adults: Full day $29, half day $24. Rest of Season: Adults: Full day $39.

- Runs: 21% Beginner, 47% Intermediate, 32% Advanced.

- I haven't skied Telluride, but I have driven there from Denver. It took
- approximately 8 hours, and that was in the summer. I would recommend
- renting a car, because the scenery in and around Telluride is spectacular,
- see as much of it as you can. Also, Telluride is a small town and, besides
- skiing, there may not be much in the way of entertainment.
