- Hold it a minute! When I was diving off Maui I was part of a 12 diver
- boat load. This among dozens of other boats in the immediate area.
- There are lots of areas I never got even close too with large numbers
- of other divers. People all over the beaches were swimming, surfing,
- and so on. This only on one island.

- I don't need higher math to categorically state that among millions of
- water entries each week there were no shark attacks. It is clear to
- me that sharks pose little if any threat to anyone there. It is even
- more clear to me that NO ONE knows what the true issues are involving
- shark attacks in Hawaii. We are only seeing the exception to a very
- strong rule that sharks don't bother people! In other ways it's
- easier to prove that they don't then that they do.
