- I just got back to the states from Cairns, having spent 2 weeks there.
- Pro-dive was offering 3 day live-aboards plus advanced open water
- training for $275AU. There are many dive shops in Cairns:
- Pro-dive, Deep Sea divers, Downunder Dive, Peter Tibbs, CDC, and several
- more I can't remember the names of. Dive course/trips are priced very
- competitive, and are of good value. There are also several companies that
- run day trips out to the reefs, and a host of live-aboard choices.
- Queensland laws require dive medicals, which the sho will arrange for
- you.
-
- Water temp was 26 deg C.
