- The Caymans are nice in January, but are "in season" so rates will be
- higher. I would suggest diving with a company that will go North, East
- and South if you have much diving experience. The coral on most of the
- West wall is really beaten up. Expect to be treated like an idiot by
- the divemasters (with reason - many divers there _are_ idiots) and
- follow rigid profiles. Many boats have primitive accomodations for
- cameras, are very full and tend to go to sites on the West wall only, as
- the other areas are farther and rougher. Many divemasters at the "big
- boys" are inexperienced (we had two that couldn't figure out where some
- of the dive sites were). Also, most of the dive operators do not allow
- you to follow your computer, but only tables and with strict time/depth
- limits.
