- For the past few months I have been playing around with different running
- techniques. I.E., stride length, cadence, amount of kick, amount of push
- off of the toes, etc...
- Various combinations of these result in different sore muscles later on (the
- kind of sore that tells you you used them, not over used them) and some
- have induced knee pains that are debilitating the next day.
-
- So my question to long time runners is this:
-
- How do I develop a suitable running technique for my 4-6 km 3-5 X/week
- regime that will not lead to long term problems?
- This is something I never even considered before, I just thought I would go
- run.
- Since I got my orthotics, my technique has changed considerably over the 8
- months. Will it eventually settle down, or what????

- thanks for the help, advice, opinions, discussion or whatever,
