-
- Anaconda originally did have three, six-coach, trains, and they attempted
- three-train operation. Unfortunately, the ride isn't that long, and there
- were constant backups of trains waiting to be unloaded. It also placed alot
- of stress on operators, trying to get people into and out of the trains
- quickly enough to avoid the ride shutting itself down. KD added a coach to
- each train, making two, seven-coach, trains, with four cars in storage
- somewhere. I'd love to see that four-car train run:-) I rather suspect
- they're used as spares when needed.
-
- The one nice thing about the seven-car trains is that now they have the
- mid-course trim brake set even lighter than it was when the coaster opened.
- This makes the butterfly faster then they were (ever so slightly), and the
- corkscrew remains the slowest around.
