  12. Hi all,
  13.   Today is the first day of the International Assoc. of Amusement Parks
  14.   and Attractions(IAAPA) annual show.  It is being held in Dallas, Texas.
  15.   For those of you who aren't familiar with it, it is one of the biggest
  16.   trade shows(so I'm told) in the United States.  I was fortunate to be
  17.   able to attend last year in Orlando, Florida.  
  18.  
  19.   Basically, any business that has any thing to do with amusement parks
  20.   attends.  The people who make stuffed animals, arcade games, and rides
  21.   are there.  Chance, who makes the most beautiful carousel animals
  22.   I have ever seen, is there.  Companies that do laser tag and computer 
  23.   simulations(like virtual reality) are there.  Representatives from
  24.   many parks attend and conduct business there.

  26.   I believe it is open to the public, for a price.  Seems to me in Florida
  27.   it was about $20 or $25.  I think it might be in Los Angeles, California,
  28.   next year.  The following year, I hope it will make its way back to
  29.   New Orleans, Louisiana.  I just love Lousiana and cajun food!  Maybe
  30.   by that time I'll be graduated and won't have midterms to worry about.

  32.   Just thought some of you might be interested in this. If you have any
  33.   questions, I'll try to answer them, but I am going on a short vacation
  34.   here very soon, so I may not be able to get back to you right away.

  36.   Hope you all have an enjoyable Thanksgiving.  I hope to be skiing at
  37.   Alta, Utah next week.  My skis have been pouting all summer, but I
  38.   guess that is for another newsgroup....
