  26. The Bat had a lot of problems, but there were no deaths on it.  I have heard
  27. "The Saga of the Bat" from the guy that was the head of maintence at Kings
  28. Island from the time the park opened until about 1984.  The problems were 
  29. purely mechanical, and as I stated in an earlier post, mostly due to flat
  30. track. (no banking).  I don't know if any cars fell off the track, but I will
  31. check with him the next time I get a chance.
