  19. Warning: I don't know if this is typical for these, but without really trying,
  20. Stuart and I broke that plastic clip-like thing that holds the whole operation
  21. together on our first (and so far only) outing.  Stuart was sufficiently
  22. surprised at actually being outside, though that he just stood there munching
  23. grass with the remains of the harness wrapped around him, and didn't try to
  24. take off.  (The only time I've been able to carry him without him squirming,
  25. by the way, was on the way back upstairs from that outing.  I guess he was
  26. too happy to care.)

  28. Before spring I'm going to try to construct something out of leather and
  29. velcro.  I'd be much happier if the harness couldn't tighten around his
  30. neck, anyway.
