- No idea, though I think only CA has a problem with pet ferrets.

- Do you mean the "Is it a snarling, rabid killer animal?" question
- all people seem to ask? :) I have the little girl cradled in my arms,
- scritching her and yet they think she's going to leap out of my hands
- and attack them. :) Maybe it's because they're kinda exotic that they
- get the 'wild animal' label...I've changed a lot of people's minds in my
- dorm about ferret, since she's more interested in getting onto the ground
- and exploring than anyone's petting hand. :)

- Errr...I'm a new owner, and she seems to be as easy to care for
- as a cat or dog. Feed it, play with it, they get along just fine. But
- some people seem to have perpetually sick ferrets or have to proof their
- entire house against 'damaging items' and such. It reminds me of people
- who are always taking their dog to the vet, while mine manages quite
- well on nothing more than a yearly trip for shots. I can't understand
- why some people spend so much time and energy caring for their pets
- when they can pretty well take care of themselves. (Not counting time
- for love and affection. :))

- Well, Chelsea loves to get onto my desk and nudge things off.
- As soon as I figure how on Earth she gets up there, my possessions
- should be safe. (Although I'd like to know where all my pens and pencils
- have gotten to...She can open the zipper on my bookbag and she loves
- to cart off any writing implements she can find...:P But she does look
- cute hauling off something at least as long as she is. ;))
- But I can leave her out in my room all day without her destroying
- anything. I just keep things off the bottom shelves. :)
