  11. Hi, all. Just wanted to run a few questions past you for reassurance and/or
  12. advice.

  14. My rabbit Frankie has recently begun to lose hair all over the place. He shed
  15. a couple of months ago pretty thoroughly, then quit. Is he just shedding again,
  16. and will this happen several times a year? Or should I worry? He seems to be
  17. eating, and he was recently neutered -- could that be related? I'm feeding him
  18. papaya and petromalt with his food to keep him from mats. Is it seasonal? It
  19. made sense before because the weather was hot, but it seems weird for him to
  20. be shedding as it gets colder. He looks a little ragged, but I don't notice any
  21. real bald spots (although there are places where the fur seems very short and
  22. fine). Am I completely overreacting?

  24. Also, he seems rather lazy lately. He hops around some, but not as much as he
  25. has. Mostly he snoozes and lays around. I wonder again if this is seasonal --
  26. anyone know? I've thought about trying to play with him, but he seems to get
  27. annoyed when I do, and just runs under some furniture. I'm thinking he may 
  28. just be bored and am considering getting a second rabbit for him to play with.
  29. Does that sound like a good idea, or should I be more concerned? I still don't
  30. really know how to play with him -- any ideas, or should I just leave him be?
  31. He's never been tremendously interactive, so it's not totally out of character.
  32. He hasn't been too interested in many toys I've tried to give him; he sometimes
  33. likes to throw cups and push around a shawl on the floor, but that's about it.
