  14. I have some central questions about connecting
  15. two hosts via some protocol, without using
  16. the telephone-net :

  18. I want to connect two or more hosts (running
  19. Unix) with either TCP/IP or ka9q or something
  20. by transmitting the data 'through the air'!

  22. So I wanted to know, what hardware equipment
  23. I will need, and I also wanted to know what
  24. is the correct term for this (ham-radio?
  25. packet-radio? cb?)

  27. Anyway, I don't want to spend too much money
  28. on the radio hardware (less than DM 300, that
  29. are US$ 200).

  31. I intended to use so called CB-units (don't
  32. know the correct english term).
