- This is typical resolution. Any resolution finer than this would
- give a false sense of precision (if you read to hundredths, you would
- be frustrated at fluctuations between subsequent readings from the same
- powder drop).
-
- I just got one!!!
-
- The first one was DOA - Dillon sent out a second one (they agreed to
- sell me a second one, express shipping (no charge for shipping), and
- send UPS to pickup the first one and issue a charge credit when they
- recieve it - I could have just sent the other one back and waited, but
- I wanted my toy!).
-
- The second one works wonderfully. The measurements match my Dillon balance
- beam scale EXACTLY, but it is much easier and quicker to take measurements
- with the digtal unit. Also, you *know* you have the right reading rather
- than painstaikingly examine the balance beam to make sure you have it
- "exact".
-
- The scale has an interesting calibration mode - you hold down the CAL
- button until it reads "50 (flashing"), then press the 0 key. The
- scale now reads "CAL 50", at which point you put on a 50 gram weight
- and wait until it reads "cal F". I assume this calibrartion sets two
- points on some sort of linear interpolation scale.
-
- No, I'm not returning this one - it will make reloading easier, as well
- as making it practical to frequently check the powder measure during a
- reloading session.
