  13. I am looking for a winter project of sporterizing a military rifle. This
  14. rifle may be used for an ELK hunt in the future in the northwest.
  15. I assume that a swedish 6.5mm would be to light for this but would be better
  16. for informal target practice.

  18. I can get whatever I want for cost thanks to my handy brother-in-laws ffl.
  19. Rifles considered:  Lee Enfield #4 about $70.
  20.             Carcanos 6.5mm about $30. (lousy action i was told)
