  13.   I remember reading that you could remove the dross from molten lead
  14.   by using sawdust.  Anyone know anything about that?  I may be confused;
  15.   is this the same thing as fluxing?

  17.   I know a little about fluxing with beeswax.  That sure brings up the dross!
  18.   Could paraffin be used instead?   Sure would be a lot cheaper...

  20.   Appreciate any advise on casting.  BTW, I bought a 100 # of lead last nite.
  21.   $.50/lb.  Plan on doing it again in two weeks.  50-50 solder is currently

  24.   How's this for an idea?  Instead of a 50% surtax on lead, add a tax on PAINT.
  25.   After all, it is *PAINT* that is the problem (well, the lead _in_ paint_);  
  26.   $.05/pint, $.10/quart, and $.25/gallon.  This seems like it would focus the
  27.   *cure* much more towards the *cause*.  If you like this idea, you know who
  28.   to write to...  If they add a tax on lead, would this be double taxation?
  29.   Ammo already has the 10% or 11% Pittman-Robertson tax!
