  38. Actually the name Zamak has been in common usage for 40 years, that I know of,
  39. and is the name of _one_ zinc alloy.  Therefore, in car parts or firearms,
  40. Zamak is synonimous with zinc alloy/junk/potmetal/sleaze, and is _not_
  41. a euphemism or attempt to portray a junk firearm as quality.

  43. It's like describing a _particular_ stainless alloy as Monel.
