- I don't know what the big deal about shooting lead bullets out of Glocks is.
- I've shot well over 10K out of a G17, and have had no problems. These are
- cheap handloads used mostly for IPSC style practice, I don't expect bullseye
- accuracy, but even with "cheap" lead bullets the gun shoots better than I. I
- may get an occasional feeding jam (due to the bullet and case not being sized
- correctly, but they are easy to clear. (and good practice too!)

- You do have to clean the barrel more often, but so what? I can shoot for
- under 7 cents a round (discounting the inital cost of the brass).

- I wouldn't use lead bullets if I wanted to ensure the gun feeds flawlessly.
- I've shot maybe 2K jacketed bullets and have NEVER had any malfunctions. I
- know that isn't a large statistical number, but I feel confident that my
- Glock will fire with the hydra shocks I keep it loaded with at home...
