- You have a case from Dominican Republic produced .30 M2 ball ammo. The
- "RD" is Republica Dominicana.

- As to the primer, you have discovered the alternative form of Berdan
- primer, which uses a single offset flash hole instead of the more
- common pair. The Germans used this a lot during WW2; I believe it
- has advantages in producibility.
