  14. Give the standard freeze, on the floor, etc.  If they refuse, then tell them 
  15. get the hell out or get shot.  I think this would be alot more defensable
  16. in court than shooting just for not hitting the floor, and alot safer than 
  17. trying a mexican standoff until the police arrive.  I'd rather let the cretin 
  18. walk than have to worry about his possible partner or worry that he will decide 
  19. I don't have the guts to actually shoot.

  21. You gave the felon the option to walk away safely, and he made
  22. the decision to stay and furthor threaten your safety... That SHOULD
  23. be a rightous shoot for a civilian.
