- This question is directed to the police officers, former police
- officers, and soon-to-be police officers (congrats Eric!) who
- read this group, but all are welcome.
-
- What is the current thinking on "hideaway guns"? Not backup guns,
- which are really smaller service guns. I'm thinking of very
- small pieces that are hidden away for last ditch use, such as
- the officer being captured or otherwise disarmed.
-
- Is it preferred to use a derringer with 2 rounds of a combat
- cartridge (.38/9mm), or is a small auto with 5 or 6 less-than-
- ideal cartridges (.25 ACP) recommended?
