- They'd might choose a rifle if they couldn't handle the recoil of a
- shotgun or develop good handgun skills. I had a friend while in the
- Marines who could barely qualify with the .45 but could shoot lights
- out with the M-14 and M-16.

- Any scenario with the requirement for high power, accuracy, and/or
- high capacity. 30 rd mags of 9mm or .45 are damn heavy.
