- I saw a demo of the latest generation of speed detectors at the
- fair a couple months ago. I believe they are infra-red. As I
- remember, they are accurate in distance measuring within 1/100
- ft. at distances ~one mile on moving or stationary subjects.
- They are a little pricey though. ~$4000 if memory serves.
