  29. certainly  a  bad idea.  I doubt that your average thug will just
  30. sit down and wait until hell freezes over  or  you  fall  asleep.
  31. After all, he wants something (to steal, I presume) so he doesn't
  32. gain anything by waiting.

  34. IMHO, the best course of action is to leave  a  suspect  a  clear
  35. possibility  to  escape.  If I found somebody inside my flat, I'd
  36. yell "GET OUT  HERE  OR  I  SHOOT  YOU!  OUT  NOW!",  instead  of
  37. "FREEZE!" or something similar.

  39. The natural human reaction in a state of panic is  to  run  away.
  40. That's what I am trying to provoke.
