- You're joking about the fixed number, right? The east coast was once
- (and in many areas still is) thick with evergreen trees.

- The farm where I dig my tree each year replants the spot where each tree
- has been dug up, so I have increased the tree population which should
- help the air quality a tiny amount and improves the 14 acres of former
- tobacco field I plant with the trees. I feel that a live tree is the way
- to go if one has a place to plant afterwards.
