- I have a mantis, which I like a lot for (small-to-mediumish) jobs.
- I have very happily chewed up grass and made beds down to about 8-9 inches
- deep with it. It works the best of any tiller I've ever used at kicking
- rocks up out of the bed (and we live 1/2 mile from a glacial gravel
- quarry, so rocks are a big thing for me). I hate the two-stroke engine
- starting problems, but am willing to live with it.

- If you're only going to use one once or twice a year, you might consider
- going in on a tiller with someone else, to get more use out of it.
