- KLW>I forgot to mention that the Casino Belle is leaving next April to go to
- KLW>St. Charles, Missouri (west northwest of St. Louis on the Missouri River).
- KLW>Apparently Missouri passed a referendum allowing casino and/or riverboat
- KLW>gambling. Does anyone know what the limitations there will be (e.g., bet
- KLW>or loss limits)?
-
- Kerry, Missouri allows $500 loss limit, and I know that the bet limit is
- a lot more than $5, I think there is no limit (or $500). Local option
- was passed in St. Charles and St. Louis, and possibly others. There is
- a small section of the St. Louis riverfront where they will allow
- permanently docked casinos. The rest will have to cruise. Gambling
- only on the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. St. Louis and St. Charles
- will have to compete with casinos in East St. Louis and Alton, both in
- Illinois, where there are no limits, except those set by the casino
- operator.
