- It would depend on how you had been playing the particular game, wouldn't
- it? If you had been playing very loose, and been called on a couple of
- bluffs, perhaps standing pat with four of a kind could be a good play.
- On the other hand, if you were playing tight, drawing might be a better
- play, to give the appearance of drawing to a straight or flush or even
- two pair.

- Probably the best answer is "it depends". It depends on the other players
- and how you think they perceive you. This kind of question underscores the
- importance of understanding your opponents.
