  11. I am looking at insulated supergaitors, and I have been able to
  12. find only two, both with Thinsulate on the bottom half of the gaitor.

  14. 1. Wild Country Extremities Supergaitors ($95), with Goretex.

  16. 2. Black Diamond Expedition Supergaitors ($90), with Ultrex.
  17.  
  18. Does anyone have any experience with these?  How do they stand up
  19. to crampon points?  How durable is the rubber rand?  How helpful is
  20. the insulation?  Any other models that I should consider?
