- The Marylander will get the equivalent of a soup, while the Detroiter
- will get a full dinner for a week - I am amazed you still do not get
- that

- Yes Nigel! Your salary comes from taxes paid by Detroit auto workers
- much more than Baltimore port workers. You should take a closer look
- on who is paying your salary and who is your customer you are trying
- to satisfy.
- I am not sure how many people buy a foreign car by looking at the PORT of
- ENTRY on the sticker!!
-
- I see that my picturing of a Detroit kid hungry touched a lot of people;
- lots of you got defensive and quickly labelled this as racism.
- we got even to talk about baseball and the Canadian Flag.
- Talking about racism/patriotism/isolationism is not the issue here -
- the issue is having enough money to put food on the table and pay
- for good education and healthcare!!

- Nigel!
- Same thing applies to you; if US government will not have enough money
- for your work because of a shrunk tax base, then you better reconsider
- your options.
-
- At any rate this is rec.autos - THIS is NOT misc.consumers or alt.jokes.autos;
- Jeff, I am still not sure if this was meant to be a joke or not; as you
- can see some people still think as your initial post, which is very sad.
- Let's close the matter and still be friends.
