- I drive an Eclipse GSX, not quite in the same class but a performance
- car none the less. I've been trying to find out about 4 or 5 point
- racing harnesses for this car. What I've been told so far is quite
- troubling. It seems that if I do find a supplier that
- (1) My car will never again pass inspection in my state, NJ.
- (2) I will never be able to sell my car without re-intsalling the
- original equipment.
-
- Is this true? Do airbags provide any protection that 4 or 5 point
- racing harnesses do not? If they don't why can't we adults just bring
- a note from our mothers saying we promise to use the safer system
- rather than the passive system? :-).
