- About a week ago a noted scientist in atmospheric sciences gave a
- lecture at U of I about how CFCs do aid in the destruction of the
- ozone layer. The most stunning fact was that the ozone layer has been
- thinning exponentially in the last few years. As you pointed out
- CFCs are not the only problem the ozone faces but its removal
- would be a step in the right direction.
