- Ahhh...but buying a car that goes thorugh the Port of Balitmore puts
- food on the table of a Marylander not somebody in Detroit...so is it
- okay for me to buy a foreign car that stimulates local economy at the
- detriment to some other state? I'm simply applying patriotism to a

- Poor choice in analogy. Motorola sells things because it makes some
- of the arguably best products around...not because someone decides to
- pry open their computer to figure out what percentage of chips were
- made in the US.

- Um...gee...how about if the big three shifts some engineers from their
- military divisions to their auto divisions and design some better
- cars. We're getting killed not on the production line but on the CAD
- machines...and the board room. And for heaven sakes can't GM hire decent
- human factor engineers?
-
- I can't quite justify buying a car for $15,000+ and not getting
- exactly what I want. They want that much of my money they bloody well
- better earn it...
