  13.     Yes, VW windshield washers really did run from spare tire air.   
  14. I've never had a beetle, but my wife drove many of them when her father  
  15. ran a VW repair shop.  One of the driving habits she picked up is that  
  16. she almost never uses the windshield washer, no matter what the car is.   
  17. She went for 2 years on the factory washer fluid in her Accord.
