  14. I used to have a MAXON radar detector I got from DAK.
  15. It has saved me countless times but last year I got
  16. nailed by a cop with the instant on radar.
  17. There wasn't much I could do about it.

  19. Now I have a cobra trapshooter which has 3 bands (X,K, & Ka).
  20. The Ka sure gives lots of false alarms due to the 
  21. leaky detectors on other peoples cars.
  22. I think the cobra is more sensitive than the MAXOn.

  25. This is because there are signals out there that have
  26. the same frequency that youre scanning.
  27. Theres no way to tell a police signal from a false signall
  28. if they are at the same frequency.
