  26. I meant that the operating speed of the engine is about 600 to 5000 rpm.
  27. Not the alternator. Besides, I don`t know about your car, but my alternator
  28. pulley is smaller than the crank pulley that drives it. This means that the
  29. alternator is actually turning faster than the engine. I would say that the
  30. alternator pulley is about 1/3 the size of the crank pulley on my car, so
  31. that means that the operating speeds of the alternator vary from about 1800
  32. to about 15000 rpm. So I cannot figure where you get the 200 rpm from.
