- excluded well-maintained classics (what you refer to as "special
- interest" cars) from my suggestion. Now, you tell me: who wasn't

- Nope, it's not a "my cars [sic] faster than your car" challenge.
- My point was that a car doesn't have to be a big-block to be
- fun and fast, and that newer cars are much more likely to have
- cleaner emissions than their ancestors. Oh, BTW, I have no
- delusions about outrunning one of the big-block beasts
- on a straightaway; that's why I specified a "winding country
- road" :-).
