  46. I don't recall ever disagreeing with you.  As I recall, I specifically
  47. excluded well-maintained classics (what you refer to as "special
  48. interest" cars) from my suggestion.  Now, you tell me:  who wasn't
  49. listening?

  58. Nope, it's not a "my cars [sic] faster than your car" challenge.
  59. My point was that a car doesn't have to be a big-block to be
  60. fun and fast, and that newer cars are much more likely to have
  61. cleaner emissions than their ancestors.  Oh, BTW, I have no 
  62. delusions about outrunning one of the big-block beasts
  63. on a straightaway; that's why I specified a "winding country
  64. road" :-).
