  36. ok..fine..i was made to take drivers education in an automatic...
  37. does this clear it all up for you now?  I, unlike many of my peers had
  38. at LEAST MINIMAL experience in a stick BEFORE being in ANY driver's seat.
  39. but was still (like ALL my peers) made to take a drivers education course 
  40. in an automatic(and a shit one at that!)

  46. howzabout you go blow a horse? she never told me when...and it does give
  47. someone an idea of the mechanics...like..you shift when the clutch is 
  48. down(engaged, disengaged..which way does electricity flow..it all depends 
  49. on who you are..), not before, it makes a nifty noize..you shift quickly,
  50. but in such a manner as to avoid unecesssary wear(since gone to the wayside.
  51. aw well..)....and, since i didn't have any trouble when i did get behind the
  52. wheel for the first time, i can say that it DOES teach you something. better
  53. to have touched something and learned little, than to have been told it is
  54. too hard for normal people to handle, so you should not worry about it.
  55. my last say in this thread, so..tear it up if you feel you must, i say 
  56. my way is best, you say yours is...DC will still make us do it their way.
