  20.     Nope, no joke.  I had a '59 beetle and I remember the available
  21. accessories included such a washer system.  I wasn't too impressed either,
  22. so I added an aftermarket unit with a squeezebulb mounted under the
  23. dash.  It wasn't "automatic", but I needed the exercise anyway.
  24.     BTW the acc. catalog listed many interesting devices, including
  25. several pages of flowerpots!
