- I also have to disagree. USED speakers can be a great buy. In the last
- day there have been posted Magnepan's for under $500, and lots of other
- $1200-2000 speakers are available used in the $700 range. Plus you
- don't lose anything to depreciation if you decide to switch at a
- later time.

- Kit speakers, or homebuilt are often very hard to sell if you decide
- to change. On the other hand, used kit/homebuilt speakers are often
- great buys - if they were made well and used good parts.
