- Here is my advice: First, let me tell you the DAT machines that I
- have experienced. I have used the TASCAM DA30, TEAC DA-P20, Casio RA7
- and the Sont TCD-D3. I now own a D3 myself. I found that it sounded as
- good at the DA30 in strenuous listening tests. The Teac and Casio sounded
- the same which isn't suprising since they are the same. I was afraid of the
- new Casio, the R100, because it thought it might have a similar sound to the
- older casio.
