  20. The closest thing I've found in availability is from Cambridge Sound Works.
  21. Their most recent catalog has two MD's in it.  One for $699 (records and plays)
  22. or $499 (Playback only).  But the catalog says "Limited Availability 
  23. December, 1992"  Both models are portables.
