- I am looking for a low price (around $600) portable DAT. I will be using
- it mostly for playing back through an outboard D/A converter and for
- making pure digital copies of digital sources (CDs and laserdisks) so I'm
- not terribly concerned with the internal A/D and D/A quality. I am
- mostly shopping for reliability. I just heard of a Damark offer for a
- Casio DA-R100 portable DAT for $600. Can anyone give me some advice here?
- Is this the deal of my dreams or is the Casio a turkey? What other units
- should I be looking at?
-
- Thanks in advance.
