- I have the E1000 and like it alot. I think it does a bit more and has
- 5 channels, but is basically the same idea. For pure listening enjoyment,
- I just run CD thru my preamp and main amp as I notice some degradation (sort
- of how the music feels) with the DSP. For playing around with all the
- effects or watching Dolby Video stuff, it is FANTASTIC.

- My main amp does 250/8 or >400 into 4 (Acurus A250) and I thing the
- 25 Watts for the surrounds works fine. The trick is to balance the levels
- first with a RS SPL meter. Before I did that, I was in the dark so to
- speak. You can always run efficient speakers for the surrounds and get
- several db back that way.
